Q. What makes Agape’Care Cradle different from other mortuaries?

AgapéCare Cradle’s funeral center is SPECIALIZED. Families receive loving care in a respectful, warm and welcoming environment. AgapéCare Cradle is a soothing and comforting place where bereaved childbearing families can rest and heal.

Unlike standard mortuaries, AgapéCare Cradle does not prearrange sales of funeral services or merchandise. Relationships are established exclusively to deliver the immediate  practical assistance and specialized support parents need.  BY DEFINITION AgapéCare Cradle has no interest in future sales.

AgapéCare Cradle promotes EMOTIONAL and SPIRITUAL recovery.  We CONTINUE CARE long after the funeral is over, and connect parents to helpful resources in the community.

Q:  Since you are nonprofit, will you provide services at no charge?

AgapéCare Cradle provides services and funeral supplies to families without regard to income or other qualifiers.  We believe every family suffering through the loss of a baby family member needs AgapéCare Cradle’s special program.  AgapéCare Cradle receives  families based solely on available resources, without regard to whether or not the family can pay.

AgapéCare Cradle is a Kansas licensed funeral establishment.

As is the case with anystate licensed mortuary, AgapéCare Cradle must abide by Kansas State Board of Mortuary Arts and Federal Trade Commission regulations.

Q If I make a donation to Agape’Care Cradle, is my donation tax deductible?

Yes.  AgapéCare Cradle is a 501 ( c ) 3 not for profit organization.

Q:  Will you provide bereavement services for me if I used a different mortuary?

Will you provide services for people who have miscarriages?

AgapéCare Cradle will provide assistance as our resources allow.  AgapéCaresmCradle provides mortuary services when pregnancy loss involves a physical body, through infancy to one year of age.

Q:  Who will perform the services and what denomination will they be?

Parents choose whoever they wish to officiate their baby’s service.

Clergy from various denominations are available to help families who do not have a minister for their baby’s service.

Q:    Your mission and writings state that you operate according to Christian principles.  How will you serve a family who does not practice Christianity?

AgapéCaresm Cradle demonstrates the love of Christ by respectfully facilitating cultural and religious practices requested by grieving parents, to help them reconcile their loss in whatever way is comfortable, familiar and healing for them.
