· Could your family and friends relate to your deep grief and loneliness if they never met your loved one, knew their name, or how important that person was to you?

2. Often nobody knows their son or daughter.
3. They have few, if any, personal artifacts that explain the reality and significance of their child
4. Their baby son or daughter who is gone represents everything they hoped for in their future and they can’t describe that very well to anyone.
AgapéCaresm Cradle ~ Bringing Hope to the Brokenhearted
· AgapéCaresm Cradle is a licensed nonprofit funeral center that has already served some families in Wichita but doesn’t have enough funding to help ALL the parents whose baby is stillborn or dies in infancy (about 100 babies are stillborn or die in infancy each year in Sedgwick county).
· AgapéCaresm Cradle meets brokenhearted mothers and fathers at a time of desperate need, coming alongside them as their advocate, to help them comfortably and confidently tell others the story of their precious baby’s life.
· AgapéCaresm Cradle compassionately guides bereaved parents through the process of planning a funeral, also taking action to actually create memories in the form a tangible artifacts’ that document the story of the baby’s life.
· AgapéCaresm Cradle creates remembrance artifacts for the families: Plaster moldings, professional photographs & slide shows, tile prints, bookmarks, clothing, memory folders & books; these items document the life and story of each precious baby’ brief but immeasurably important life.
· AgapéCaresm Cradle allows parents to hold their baby as long as they desire, and coordinates special services and visitations with them.
· AgapéCaresm Cradle affirms and validates families through honoring the life of their baby.

· AgapéCaresm Cradle is only able to receive into our program, about one out of every four families who call, because of limited funds.
· AgapéCaresm Cradle needs you to champion our cause and give generously to our work, so we can fully meet this urgent need in our community.
