Remembering Baby

Many people find a sense of solace in creating lasting memorials in honor of their baby. The possibilities are as numerous as the results on an internet search and as creative as an entire Pinterest account. The important thing in memorializing your baby is not in doing it all, but in doing what brings you the most peace and joy. Consider the suggestions of an article featured in a recent AgapéCare Cradle newsletter: Remembering.

The following are a few common projects:

  • Release balloons on a special date
  • Plant a bush, a tree, or a whole memory garden
  • Construct a garden stone
  • Make a donation in baby’s memory
  • Get a tattoo
  • Create a scrapbook or shadow box of baby’s keepsakes
  • Fill a journal with thoughts, poetry, quips or doodles
  • Fashion a bracelet or a necklace. (Contact Held Your Whole Life at www.heldyourwholelife.com )
  • Order a Molly Bear. (www.mollybears.com )
  • Fill or decorate an ornament each Christmas
